HARRY MALT

I am a practicing visual artist living and working in Norfolk. 

After from Camberwell College of Art I have taught at St Martins, Camberwell and NUA. I also have years of experience of drawing commercially and as a part of my personal practice. Most recently I really enjoyed hosting a short course in sign writing at the Original Projects Space in Yarmouth.

I draw for several reasons but not exclusively, idea generation, love, and (sometimes) money.  

I would like to encourage more people to draw, to demystify the process and to take the pressure off doing ‘a good drawing’. Mistakes are welcome and actually encouraged. Don’t be too precious, enjoy the process and your drawing will become more successful.

Aside from being the building block for almost all creative visual art, drawing is an amazing tool for communication, and it can be really fun. Everyone can draw.
