Join me at Reef Make & Do for another creative, mindful day of willow weaving with local basket maker Karen Bek. Date: Thursday 12th June Times: 10:00am-4:30pm Cost: £155 Venue: Wiveton Village Hall, The Street, Wiveton, Norfolk NR25 7TH Join us for a one day workshop to create a beautiful sheep to grace your garden . Willow is a versatile and sustainable material for creating garden sculptures and a willow sheep will look beautiful nestled into flower beds or standing on the edge of a patio. You will learn how to create a frame using a box and then weave hoops into spheres using long slender rods of willow and then how to create the shapes needed before filing in. All materials for this will be provided, however, if you have a trusty, much loved pair of secateurs then do bring them if you would like. Please note that this sheep workshop is a little bit more money than the other similar animal sculptures as it requires much more willow as well as an extra hour of making.
