If you are a fan of the snowdrop walks at Walsingham then I have the perfect thing! A wander round the Walsinhgam Abbey gardens followed by a workshop making your own pots of paper snowdrops. Date: Wednesday 5th February Times: 10am- 5pm Cost: £ 130 Venue: Stonegate Farm, 12 Egmere Road, Little Walsingham. Norfolk NR22 6BS As Walsingham Abbey is on my doorstep we decided to make a special day of this workshop and combine it with a trip to walk around the beautiful gardens at Walsingham Abbey and admire the hundreds of species of snowdrops. Meg, the owner of "Floragami" creates beautifully delicate crepe paper flowers from her home in Norwich; inspired by her curiosity of all things paper and her love of flowers. Each flower and botanical piece is unique, with every petal cut from the finest crepe paper and intricately shaped by hand. The workshops are designed to be relaxed, fun and engaging and suitable for all artistic abilities. Each workshop focuses on a different flowers and at the end of this one you will have made your own exquisite paper snowdrop flowers in an antique plant pot. The snowdrops will take quite a bit longer to make than previous flowers. Meg also creates fantastic and inexpensive tutorials and kits which will be available afterwards so you can make more flowers or leaves in your own time and add to your flourishing collection! Please note that there needs to be a minimum booking of 6 guests for this workshop to run.
