This includes Sourdough Bread Workshops when she shares lots of her tips and methods that she has developed over the years. Sue believes that making bread is a fundamental skill beneficial to all, nurturing body and soul, for sharing with family and friends and enjoying the tactile and therapeutic effects along the way. Not only is Sourdough the best bread for you to eat, it also tastes great, taking time to make and keeping really well (if you can resist!). This sourdough bread workshop is the next steps in learning Sue’s methods of making sourdough and is aimed at all levels of ability, with plenty of time and refreshments along the way as well as demonstrations given by Sue so you see exactly how to handle the dough, shape, score and bake the sourdough for great results time and time again. A Miso and Sesame Seed Sourdough Miche made over the course of the day. After shaping your Miche take it home in your banneton to bake in your home kitchen another day. Soft Sourdough Sandwich Loaf - this soft loaf baked in a tin is great for sandwiches and toast! As well as these tasty loaves, Sue will be showing you different ways with discard and her method to making Sourdough, the king of bread!!! All materials and ingredients for the day will be provided and included in the price of the workshops will be a banneton and liner and dough scraper which you get to keep.
