Come and make a beautiful framed mixed media panel inspired by nature which combines collage and gel plate printing with fabulous local artist Caroline Houchell. Book Now. Date: Wednesday 27th November Times: 10am-3pm Cost: £100 Venue: Stonegate, Egmere Road, Walsingham. Nature inspired Gel printed Mixed media panel Your panel will be unique to you as you will choose your own colours, composition and patterns and explore words you want to use to make it personal to you or a friend or family member as it would make a wonderful personal gift for the garden or nature lover. You will *explore how to compose a collaged background onto a pre prepared 6x6 inch plywood panel incorporating found, chosen words and ephemera. *make your own gel printed patterned collage on teabag paper. *use natural plant materials to gel print onto fine Japanese tissue how to assemble all what you have chosen into a considered balanced mixed media panel and adding any finishing touches to provide contrast. *Mount into a white unglazed frame ready to take home. You will be given a full supply list and a 'how to' sheet to take away. You will need to bring an apron and please do not wear new or best clothes. Everything else is provided Feel free to bring foliage etc from your garden. If you have any special words you might have found in magazines or scraps of paper feel free to bring along or anything paper based you would like to use to make more personal please do bring along and we can work these into your collage.
