Now living in North Norfolk, Mary brings loads of experience and excitement to her teaching. For those of you who are yet to meet Mary, you are in for a treat! Not only is she an exceptionally talented artist but she is also wonderful at encouraging, steering and gently guiding the reticent and self conscious and turning them into bold, brave painters! Classes will happen every week, allowing for illness, holidays, or work commitments. Every session starts with some easy warm-up exercises to set a relaxed mood before diving into more serious painting. You'll learn about different styles and techniques from famous artists, helping you understand painting better while developing your unique artistic voice. Drawing, being essential to painting, will also be a major part of your learning journey. Mary values practice so expect a bit of homework! Occasionally she may organise outdoor painting sessions when the weather permits and invite her accomplished artist friends for guest appearances, keeping things fresh and exciting.
